  2. Tatyana says:

When I see this card I feel fear. Some storng power, that we were growing up and breeding ourselves, has risen up itself and now it’s out of control. Nobody knows what it’s going to do. I am waiting for something unknown and terrible and I am not alone in this feeling. Nobody knows what it’s going to happen.

When I see this card it can represent different things on different levels. My favourite would be that it represents the bridge between spirit and matter, that we are all a part of it, in some way that there are many links towards this, that it reaches hither and thither and that we are only a tiny aspect of it, that is it beauty, that we love, worship what it represents, that we wish to climb this great bridge.

When I see this card … At first there is something under threat

these associations come to mind … value of solidarity in the face of physical or environmental threat.

which bring up for me … reminders we need to be connected and stand together

and I feel joyful because humans have this capacity ….

When I see this card, I see strength in numbers, if we all stand together nothing can stop the power in our strength to be one.

  7. John says:

Looking up, these people are afraid that something is about to fall out of the tree. It is a magnificent tree and they are protecting it, sending it energy through their backs. They might be trying to ward off people who threaten the tree.
On second look, the people are surrounding a giant vine, like the beanstalk that Jack planted and climbed. He is up there, has gotten into trouble. The people don’t want anyone else to go up there. And they are afraid of what might be coming down the tree at any minute. Earlier they had rushed to the tree with no thought about what they might do, how long they would stay or what might happen to them. They are good people who care a lot.

  8. Karen Kreutz says:

Nature is a massive and respectful force. we are all embraced to learn to admire. There is a yearning to rise to the challenge.
Es ist unglaublich und jetzt wahr. wir sind klein und verbunden aber die nature is ueber uns.

  9. Anne says:

I see helplessness and oppresion from one side and strength, stability and quietness from another. It tells me that there is one and there is another, both exist. And I feel calm and accepting.

  10. Diane says:

When I see this card….I am reminded that a unified and focused group of “small” beings with a common purpose has great power – potentially the power to protect and save a single “large” being. And that even large, strong, well-established beings have vulnerabilities.

  11. Sandra says:

When I see this card…it seems to me, that people are gathered together to meet smth strange, unusual, and exciting. They are waiting anxiously, looking up to the sky. They are all together, that’s why they’re not frightened. They have strong connection with the wild nature and it brings the strength to them.

  12. Pey Siew Mei says:

This card reminds me of the largess of nature and how humans constantly want to have a control over the naural environment, yet are awed by it at the same time.

  13. Michael Wetzler says:

The picture gave me a sense of magic, as if something is happening in the swaying tops of the trees, and the assembled group is together both for safety, and at the same time in awe of whatever is happening above.
There is unity, and wonder, and the connection to the earth, and nature through and around the tree.

  14. Letitia Ash-Lameer says:

When I see this card it brings to mind looking up at a Californian redwood tree in all it’s majesty and feeling very small and transitory. I feel awe at the wonder of creation.

  15. Denise Gurney says:

This card makes me think of the strength that trees inspire, how they can reach down to us as well as how they can tower above us. I like the idea that the people are around the tree protecting it, standing around it like a bracelet.

  16. Jon says:

The first thing that came to mind to me was Jack and the Beanstalk. The pursuit of dreams that ultimately cannot be fulfilled.

  17. vanessa says:

When I see this card, I’m invited to think about my relation to trees and I feel like I would like to join this circle to bond with the trees… I really love trees! Also I try to remember the last time I hugged a tree!!

  18. Eric Brunet says:

when I see this card I feel fear about the power of nature and the fragility of man. I remember the attempts of man to master nature instead to live with. And I also feel the hope that men cooperate, form the chain of humanity and soothe the spirits of nautre. So I feel hope, joy and breathe

  19. Grace Kerina says:

When I see this card, I remember the years I worked for an environmental organization, which brings up both the successes and failures we had in trying to educate people about taking better care of the planet … and I feel mixed feeling of pride in how far Western culture’s views about the environment have come, but also fears about the future and whether we’re learning fast enough.
